American Hellenic Council Holds Open House
The American Hellenic Council is hosting an Open House this Saturday, September 27th from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in Culver City, CA.
The event will offer a chance to network with fellow Greek-Americans, while refreshments and entertainment will be provided. The Open House is being held to commemorate the American Hellenic Council's 40th Anniversary: 1974-2014. As stated on its website, the mission of the American Hellenic Council is: "The American-Hellenic Council is a non-partisan political advocacy organization. Our goal is to promote democracy, human rights, peace, and stability in Southern Europe and the Eastern Mediterranean, with an emphasis on Greece and Cyprus, by informing the American public and public officials about on-going issues and conflicts in the area and about the threat arising from the economic crisis in Greece".
