Ismini Karydis – Svensson is not just a stunningly beautiful Greek woman. She is also a person that assisted president Obama's communication efforts, and a person of exceptional personal fortitude as she overcame an accident at a very young age that could have confined her to a wheelchair for the rest of her life.
Ismini Svensson is the Co-Founder of StayUNITED where she serves as Chairwoman of the board. She is the founder and President of Svensson Investments, LLC, an international real estate investment firm.
Ismini received her bachelor of arts and masters degree in civil engineering from the National Technical University of Athens. Before graduating, she founded the company KConstruction, where she served as President for six years. In 2002, she assisted in the construction of the Olympic Village for the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens.
Ismini served as the student representative to the board of directors of the school of civil engineering at NTUA. She was a member of the Committee of Political Planning of ONNED, the youth organization of the political party New Democracy. She earned a scholarship to attend the Political Academy of the Austrian People's Party. She served as the General Secretary of the board of directors of Rotaract District 2470.
In 2012, Ismini worked in Washington, D.C alongside members of the U.S govenment meeting political leaders such as Vice-President Biden, former President Clinton, and President Obama at the White House. Her passion to help those in need, especially children, led her to establish StayUNITED. For her leadership, Ismini has been recognized by officials at the local, state, and federal levels of government across America.
Ismini speaks five languages: English, Greek, Chinese, German, and French. She is a grade 9 pianist. A ballerina since the age of 3, she received multiple honors from the Royal Academy of Dance. Ismini and her husband Mark have one daughter, Rafaela, and live in New York.
