Nia Vardalos & Kellogg's Launch #2105Revolution
Greek-Canadian star Nia Vardalos has collaborated with Kellogg's Special K* in their Resolution Revolution for 2015.
The Resolution Revolution aims to encourage Canadians to keep this year's promises. As reported by Kellogg's, who conducted a Special K New Year's Revolution Poll in Canada, a mere 23% admitted that they made a resolution at least one time and kept it, while 87% believed that the majority of commitment makers don't actually think that they will or can make good on their promise(s) to themselves.
Vardalos stated of the act, "By the time Blue Monday rolls around, most resolvers like me have fallen back into our old habits," according to Kellogg's. The actress added, "I think we all know, deep down inside, that a Resolution is less a promise we intend to keep and more a promise we expect to break when no one is looking. Let's face it -- resolutions don't work. It's time to try something new, bold, positive and different. Instead of making a New Year's resolution for 2015, let's all declare our #2015Revolution now!"
Special K is advocating for Canadians to post this year's goals via social media with "#2015Revolution" as their hashtag. When Canadians post on Twitter with the hashtag or on Kellogg's Facebook Page in Canada between December 5th to January 30th, he or she will be automatically entered to win a $1,000 prize that assists in reaching their stated goals.
