Tom Hank's "Uncommon Type" comes out in Greek
- Written by E.Tsiliopoulos
Tom Hanks analyzes the human condition and all kinds of defects in a book with extraordinary tenderness, humor and insight.
Patakis Publications just published in Greek, the first collection of short stories by actor Tom Hanks entitled "Unusual Elements".
His stories have a common link: a typewriter plays a role, central or marginal, in all of them.
Known as an actor for his sincerity and sensitivity, Tom Hanks brings both of these features into his writing.
Moving between the playful, touching and sometimes melancholic, this first book reveals a wonderful new literary voice that manages to perceptibly penetrate beneath the surface of friendship, family, love and everyday behavior.
