Requisition of land for construction of closed type hosting facilities postponed for a week

Minister of Migration and Asylum Notis Mitarakis announced on Monday in an interview with public broadcaster ERT the freezing of the requisition of properties and land for one week.
The government had earlier announced its intention to proceed with land and properties requisition in order to construct closed type hosting facilities for refugees and migrants.
The decision was taken in order to continue the dialogue with the local administration and societies, he explained.
