Honors to Masters of Ceremonies and Sponsors at the NY Federation Dinner

The Parade Committee of the Federation of Greek Societies of Greater New York on Saturday evening, March 29, 2029, hosted the official dinner for the 204th anniversary of the National Rebirth at the famous Ziegfeld, in the heart of Manhattan.
The dinner was, by common admission, well organized and conveyed messages of unity and fighting spirit. This is because the masters of ceremonies, the federal and state parliamentarians, the honorees and representatives of the Greek and Cypriot Republics and the leaders of the Greek diaspora who took the floor sent out messages of unity, unity of mind and determination to fight for the defense of the national interests of Greece and Cyprus, and the human rights and religious freedoms of the Hellenism of Northern Epirus and the Ecumenical Patriarchate.
The dinner was attended, among others, by the Archbishop of America, Mr. Elpidophoros, the Ambassador of Greece in Washington, Ekaterini Nasika, the M.A. of Greece to the United Nations, Ambassador Evangelos Sekeris, the Consul General of Greece in New York, Ifigenia Kanara, the Leader of the Official Opposition, Nikos Androulakis, the former US Ambassador to Athens, George Tsounis, the Deputy Speaker of the Parliament, Georgios Georgantas, the MPs Andreas Katsaniotis (New Democracy), Konstantina Karabatsoli (New Democracy), Vasilios Kokkalis (SYRIZA – PS), the Regional Governor of Western Greece, Nektarios Farmakis, the Regional Governor of the North Aegean, Konstantinos Moutzouris, the Greek-Greek businessman John Catsimatidis, Senator Richard Blumenthal, the Vice President of the Commission of International Affairs of the Federal House, Gregory Meeks, Federal Representatives Nicole Malliotakis, Michael Lawler, Grace Meng, Robert Menendez Jr, State Senators Michael Gianaris and Leonidas Raptakis, State Representative Michael Tanousis and Actor-Director Christoforos Papakaliatis.
Also present were the Masters of Ceremonies Evangelos Marinakis and Metropolitan of Patras, Mr. Chrysostomos and Colonel Joseph Katz, who represented the Greek-American General Andrew P. Poppas and the Supreme President of AHEPA, Savvas Tsivikos.
The Presidential Guard, as well as the Kyrenia Opera choir and orchestra, stole the show.
New Greek TV was represented by the Head of Content, Executive Producer, Yanna Darilis, ND Ph.D.
