Greece’s relevant tourism minister on Thursday used the well-known Cape Sounion archaeological site, which combines ancient marble columns, a quintessentially Grecian landscape and the blue Aegean, to essentially kick-off the all-important 2021 tourism campaign in the east Mediterranean country.

The official opening of the tourism season will come on Friday, May 14, with holiday-makers entering the country needing a recent negative test for Covid-19 or a vaccination certificate.

During a brief press briefing and “photo-op”, Tourism Minister Haris Theocharis unveiled this year’s main slogan for Greek tourism, which is “Αll you want is Greece”.
