New York's Spring Brings Snow
New York's spring continues to be plagued by winter weather! This evening calls for more snow in the northeast, yet the worst of the storm will not strike the region.
Yesterday, The National Weather service predicted a forceful low pressure storm that will begin off the Mid-Atlantic coast tonight. The severity of the snowfall is controlled by the storm's route, but windy and cold elements will hit the Mid-Atlantic states up to New England.
A snow alert has been issued by The New York City Department of Sanitation starting at 12:00 p.m. today. The Big Apple is preparing with plows, tire chains, salt distributers and alerting supplementary workers. New York City has been collaborating with the Department of Transportation and the Office of Emergency Management for snow elimination.
