Terrorist Mustafa's Voice Recording Broadcasted
Suspected terrorist Mustafa Kamel Mustafa's voice was broadcasted in court today, stating his connection to Al-Qaeda.
The criminal is currently on trial at Manhattan's federal court, and faces international terrorism charges. Concerning September 11th, Mustafa can be heard declaring his desire to turn international airspace into an extremely high-risk area for flyers.
As WCBS 880 reported, Mustafa was asked why he would want to do that. The Al-Qeada supporter claimed in the recordings, "Because the west is using God's gift for flying to oppress nations, to kill and maim". He also commented, "...everybody was happy when the planes hit the World Trade Center".
Mustafa Kamel Mustafa's trial follows last month's New York City indictment of Osama bin Laden's son-in-law, Sulaiman Abu Ghaith. Mustafa's hearing is anticipated to run for approximately a month. If guilty, he faces life in the United States prison system.
