Time's "100 Most Influential People" Issue Out Today
Time magazine hits newsstands today, with its 11th annual "100 Most Influential People in the World" issue.
The list includes the five categories of leaders, titans, icons, pioneers, artists, and includes one uncategorized section. Time's Senior Editor Jeff Klugger reported to 1010 WINS, "We call them titans, pioneers, artists, leaders and icons, and those sound like broad terms, but when you look at some of the people within those categories they make a great deal of sense.".
Each prominent figure included is complimented with a reputable testimonial, written by another outstanding global citizen. Klugger described, "We have President Obama writing about Pope Francis, Colin Firth writing about Benedict Cumerbatch, Michael Bloomberg writing about Charlie Rose".
Hillary Clinton scored a seat in the "Titan" category and also wrote of fellow influential person, Secretary of State John Kerry. Clinton described, "Diplomacy takes stamina, passion and perspective, and John embodies these traits. He is relentless in the face of the most persistent obstacles...There's nobody better suited to carry the cause forward than John Kerry. The people of the United States can be proud he's representing America and its interests abroad. I know I am". This issue of Time magazine is one of the most popular editions of the publication, since its creation.
