Venizelos Attends Back-to-Back UNGA Meetings

During today's United Nations General Assembly session held at UN headquarters in New York City, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Affairs Minister Evangelos Venizelos hosted the Foreign Ministers Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation, at an 8:00 a.m. EST working breakfast; currently Greece serves as the alternating chair for this term.

Venizelos held a meeting with the UN Secretary General's newly appointed Advisor on the Cyprus Issue Espen Barth Eide at 11:45 a.m. At 1:00 he is scheduled to participate in a working lunch organized by the Albania Chairmanship of the South-East European Cooperation Process.

This afternoon at 5:00 p.m., the Greek leader is set to meet with President of the National Coalition for Syrian Revolutionary and Opposition Forces Hadi al-Bahra. Concluding his working day, the Greek Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Affairs Minister will hold a meeting with Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu at 6:00 p.m.
