The Athens Exchange general index closed at 1,232.12 points, with an added 3.09% to yesterday's 1,195.20 points.
Yet it wasn't enough to wipe out all of this month's looses, which totaled 7.76%. The large-cap FTSE/ATHEX 25 swelled by 2.65% today, in a sum of 396.62 points.
Only three large-caps experienced an increase, including Motor Oil gaining 7.20%, OTE telecom growing 8.40% and METKA enlarging by 5.74%. The National Bank of Greece faced a 2.44% decrease. Overall, 93 stocks reported gains, 37 suffered losses and 11 remain unaffected. Today's turnover rose to 251.1 million euros, while yesterday's capped at 99.2 million euros.
