"I do not know if it is a matter of time, but it is certainly a matter of a short time, that's the government's aim, until the end of May or early June to be in position to have reached a mutually beneficial agreement" stated government spokesman Gavriil Sakellaridis during his briefing to the press on Monday.
Sakellaridis announced that on Monday at 17:00 the political negotiation team will convene at that Maximos mansion adding that the negotiations will resume on Tuesday morning in Brussels.
Asked on whether June 5 is the deadline for an agreement, he said that the government does not set deadlines or ultimata adding that due to the liquidity problem that the need for an agreement is for Greece and for the eurozone is imperative.
