Decongestion of Idomeni and Piraeus top priority

The construction of new hosting areas aiming at decongesting Idomeni and Piraeus port was discussed at Friday's meeting of the Refugees and Migration Policy Government's Council chaired by Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras at the Maximos mansion.
According to sources, top priority was given to the port of Piraeus in order to be again functional before the beginning of the Easter holidays. They also that the process will be intensive and pressing without this meaning that they will make use of violence. The aim is the people to trust the Greek state and be persuaded to move to other settlements.
The tense that prevailed in the last days among refugees and migrants was also discussed as well as the possibility of transfering refugees according to their nationality.
