The gathering in London was organized by Michalis Arapis, Legal and Vice-President of the Greek-Orthodox Community of Cardiff and South Wales, in collaboration with the Pontian Association of the United Kingdom and its President, Dr. Kiki Sonidou.
In Manchester the rally was organized by an independent movement of members of the Greek community. The gatherings took place without the involvement of political actors.
