Greeks rally around the world against use of "Macedonia" in FYROM name

Apart from Thessaloniki, rallies against the use of the name "Macedonia" by FYROM were also carried out in other countries by Greeks of the diaspora. In particular, rallies took place in Melbourne, Stuttgart and London.
Melbourne, clashes with FYROM fans
At the Melbourne rally, where more than 300,000 Greeks live, participation was great. However, according to various reports, there were clashes when some natives of FYROM provoked the Greeks, resulting in small-scale clashes.
Stuttgart
There was great participation in Stuttgart, with the Greeks, with flags in their hands, staging a march and shouting slogans.
The Greeks in Britain gathered in London and Manchester
As SKAI TV reported, in London the rally was conducted by ordinary citizens. Approximately 300 people with flags gathered, recited the national anthem and sang songs for Macedonia, shouted said slogans and left peacefully in the rain.
The gathering in London was organized by Michalis Arapis, Legal and Vice-President of the Greek-Orthodox Community of Cardiff and South Wales, in collaboration with the Pontian Association of the United Kingdom and its President, Dr. Kiki Sonidou.
In Manchester the rally was organized by an independent movement of members of the Greek community. The gatherings took place without the involvement of political actors.
"The purpose of the gatherings is to unite our strengths and voices so that from the United Kingdom the world can hear that Macedonia was, is and will always be Greek! The history and name of Macedonia are not granted or negotiable!" Stated the organizers.
