Parliament VP: EU reactions to Turkey are too mild
- Written by E.Tsiliopoulos
"The reactions on the part of Europeans are too mild so far against a country that has violated the international law," Parliament Vice-President Nikitas Kaklamanis said on Sunday in an interview with the Athens-Macedonian News Agency (ANA).
He underlined that Europe must change its stance and become stricter against Turkey, adding that the EU's latest decision is in the right direction, but it is not so bold.
Regarding the upcoming elections, he said that the issue is to have a majority government so that New Democracy is able to take Greece out of the left deadlocks inherited from Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras.
