Monday's Greek Electoral Results
Early this morning, SYRIZA backed candidate for Attica Rena Dourou, surpassed incumbent Giannis Sgouros with 23.73% and 22.18% of votes, respectively.
This figure was determined regarding 92% of all votes counted, as of early Monday. In Athens' mayoral race, Yiorgos Kaminis backed by the Panhellnic Socialist Movement (PASOK) and Democratic Left (DIMAR) gained more votes than SYRIZA-supported candidate Gavriil Sakellaridis at 21.05% over 20%, with 99.10% of votes currently documented.
Regarding Thessaloniki's mayor election, incumbent Yiannis Boutairs led the race over Stavros Kalafatis, with 36.03% compared to 26.19%. Piraeus' independent candidate Yiannia Moralis generated 33.24% of votes, while incumbent Vassilis Michaloliakos gaining 31.32%, in the total of 96.35% counted votes.
According to ANA-MPA, the Interior Ministry has confirmed voting results for the 12 prefectures, not including Attica. The outcomes can be found below:
Northern Greece's Central Macedonia prefecture, with 95.07% of votes counted: Tzitzikostas Apostolos gained 32.79%, and Ioannidis Yiannis held 18.72%.
North-Eastern Greece's Eastern Macedonia-Thrace Prefecture with 91.42% of votes counted: Pavlidis Georgios received 34.10%, while Giannakidis Aristridis generated 27.68%.
North-Western Greece's Western Macedonia prefecture has counted 88.90% of votes with Dakis Georgios at 36.44%, and Karypidis Theodoros at 28.51%.
North-Eastern Greece's Northern Aegean prefecture analyzed 99.62% of votes: Kalogirou Christiana gained 31.47%, and Giakalis Athanassios achieved 25.92%.
Prefecture of Western Greece counted 92.89% of votes: Katsifaras Apostolos gained 23.02%, and Katsaniotis Andreas received 19.94%.
North-Western Greece's Epirus prefecture studied 96% of votes: Kahrimanis Alexandros received 50.74%, while Gerovasili Olga generated 24.64%.
Central Greece's Thessaly prefecture counted 93.07% of votes: Agorastos Konstantinos gained 2.89%, while Tsilimigas Nikos received 17.23%.
Western Greece's Ionian Islands prefecture counted 97.96% of votes: Spyrou Spyridon gained 21.83%, and Galiatsatos Theodoros held 20.50%.
Southern's Greece Crete prefecture analyzed 88.54% of votes: Arnaoutakis Stavros received 40.80%, and Tsolkas Ser. achieved 26.29%.
South-Eastern Greece's Southern Aegean prefecture confirmed 87.92% of votes: Hatzimarkos Georgios gained 35.07%, and Maheridis Yiannis generated 32.71%.
South-Western Greece's Peloponnese prefecture confirmed 95.22% of votes: Tatoulis Petros held 43.42%, while Voudouris Odysseas received 15.63%.
Central Greece's Sterea Ellada prefecture counted 89.70% of votes: Bakogiannis Kostas achieved 41.51%, and Apostolou Evangelos gained 18.51%.
