Genocide & Human Rights Graduate Course Seeks Greek-American Student

Toronto's Zoryan Institute, in collaboration with the University of Toronto, has organized a two-week graduate level Genocide and Human Rights course, and seeks a Greek-American student majoring in political science and/or history.

Any Greek-American student with this background is strongly encouraged to apply.  The comprehensive course is instructed by ten renowned academics and is offered in a seminar setting. The two-week instruction incorporates genocide theory and human right violations, and studies through a comparative and interdisciplinary analysis of specialized themes and major cases.

These include: The Relationship of Genocide to Human Rights, The Causes of Genocide, Patterns of Genocide, The Psychological Trauma of Genocide, Genocide Denial, International Law, Genocide Prevention and Cases of Genocide: Armenian Genocide, Holocaust, Genocide of Native Americans, Cambodia, Rwanda and Guatemala.
