Greek-Australians Make Best in Television List

The informal ranking was conducted by Fairfax Media experts and includes Sky News CEO Angelos Frangopoulos and Director Peter Andrikidis. Frangopoulos was ranked as one of the most powerful individuals in the TV industry, and Andrikidis was graded as one of the most influential artisans.

Frangopoulos has served as the CEO of Sky News for thirteen years and reigns over five additional channels in New Zealand and Australia. The Greek-Australian has recently enlarged his domain with the acquirement of Australia's The Weather Channel, which was reintroduced as Sky News Weather Channel.

Leading Greek-Australian Director Andrikidis is considered to be a leader in introducing film-standard direction to television. Recent projects include Serangoon Road, Janet King and Fat Tony & Co, according to Fairfax Media.
