The Australian Startup Awards have nominated three Greek entrepreneurs in this year's ceremony!

According to Neos Kosmos, George Moskos, Tina Zafiropoulos and Dimitra Markogiannaki have been deemed finalists for the upcoming August 2nd Awards.

Moskos has been nominated for the Young Executive of the Year for his Whole Brands startup. Zafiropoulos has been chosen under the DKM Blue Service Business of the Year category for her Sydney Public Relations PR agency. Markogiannaki is selected for the Online Business of the Year for her WeTeachMe company, along with her business partner Kym Huynh.

Moskos' branding startup has worked with leading celebrity brands in Australia, including Kora by Miranda Kerr. Whole Brands is now worth $10 million dollars, after being established only 5 years ago.

Markogiannaki has been deemed one of the top 50 female entrepreneurs under 40 years old, and also won the Big Pitch competition's prize of $2 million dollars. Zafiropoulos' PR agency expanded by 105% within its initial six months; a startup that she created in her home and at the university library.
