PanHellenic Scholarship Foundation Awards Students
Last week, the PanHellenic Scholarship Foundation (PHSF) awarded its scholarship students at its 2014 Scholarship Awards.
The annual event was held at the Hilton Chicago on Saturday, June 14th and was attended by approximately 500 participants. News anchor Pete Zervakis acted as its Master of Ceremonies and discussed how his own PanHellenic Scholarship attributed to his success. PHSF Executive Director Yannis Valsamas and Chairman of the Academic Committee Dr. George Alexopoulos addressed the crowd as well.
Awarded Greek-American scholars came from top universities across the country, including Dartmouth, MIT, and Stanford. PHSF recognized nationwide students who are the "best and brightest", according to the Foundation's Chairman and Founder Chris P. Tomaras.
