Revolutionary Struggle Search Efforts & Findings
It has been determined that the USP 9MM pistol used to shoot at Greek police officers by felon Revolutionary Struggle Nikos Maziotis, has not been fired in terrorist or criminal attempts before, as reported by ekathimerini.
The police department administered ballistic tests on the weapon today. Additionally, Public Order Minister Vassilis Kikilias confirmed today that a counter-terrorism squad member pinpointed Maziotis outside of a Monastiraki shop yesterday, resulting in his eventual arrest.
Kikilias spoke on local TV channels and commented that his arrest was not a "chance event". Revolutionary Struggle member Panayiota Roupa is still being sought after by the Hellenic police force, as they attempt to locate her whereabouts.
It has been reported that counter-terrorism squad agents are directing their search missions near the Kifissia-Piraeus railway station line, determined by Maziotis' recent public transportation travels.
