IOBE’s Greek Economic Predictions

Greece’s IOBE research institute has predicted that the nation’s economy should enlarge by 0.7% in 2014, however its unemployment rate may suffer throughout the year, according to reports by Kathimerini.

"Nikos Kourkoulos" Day Clinic opens

Ms Marianna Latsis and Health Minister Makis Vorides visited the building, where the Day Clinic “Nikos Kourkoulos” will be housed. In accordance with the donation agreement signed on January 30, 2013 between Mrs. Latsis and the Health Ministry, the Greek State expects to take delivery of Greece’s first specialized public Day Clinic for cancer patients, which will be located on its own premises, in December 2014.

Chinese for Greek high schools

Chinese language lessons will begin being taught in 9 Experimental Curriculum High Schools, starting this October with staff provided by the Confucius Institute.
